Music, food and games: the family fun day introduced the public to King Harry Park in St Albans
The delicious smells of a hog roast wafted throughout our Chiltern region’s family fun day at its King Harry Park development in St Albans.
Crowds of people answered an open invitation to enjoy the amusements on offer, which ranged from face painting and circus entertainment to giant games of Jenga, snakes and ladders, and Connect Four.
For those who got hungry, there was ice cream to provide a pudding after tucking into the hog roast.
The day was a perfect opportunity for residents to get to know each other, as well as for the town to look around the new neighbourhood of stylish two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.
King Harry Park is on King Harry Lane, opposite the picturesque 100-acre Verulamium Park and a 15-minute walk to the city centre.
Linden Homes Chiltern managing director Darren Maddox said: “This was a great day where everyone enjoyed themselves. It was a really nice way to continue introducing King Harry Park to the town.
“At Linden Homes, getting involved in the local community is important at every site where we build. It’s not just about homes, it’s about the wider neighbourhood and its people too.”
