We gave a push to a 900-mile fundraising cycle ride that collected more than £250,000 for a children’s charity.
Joining 100 riders pedalling from London to the south of France was David Lunts, Executive Director for housing and land at the Greater London Authority. We got behind him by co-sponsoring his kit for the journey.
The endurance challenge took the cyclists all the way to Cannes, where a baton was carried to the finishing line at the world-renowned MIPIM property fair.
The money will go to the UK’s oldest children’s charity, Coram, which was found 275 years ago and now works to support children and young people from birth to independence, including adoption, education and advice.
David said: “Linden Homes’ generous support was greatly appreciated, providing inspiration during the tough moments and helping me to raise money for a good cause.”
Linden Homes Group managing director Andrew Richards said: “Congratulations to David for completing a really tough challenge in aid of a charity that has done so much good work for so long. We were very proud to add our support.”
