A children’s hospice and a pre-school have both benefitted from the fundraising efforts of our South West region.
At the start of 2014, a well subscribed raffle at the team’s New Year party raised nearly £700 for the Children’s Hospice South West – which is one of our charities of the year.
It has three hospices near St Austell, Barnstaple and Bristol, which are open to families with children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. They help to build precious memories and offer much-needed support.
Also benefitting has been White Rock Pre-school in Paignton, Devon, where we donated a prize for their own fundraising raffle.
The lucky winner received tickets for a family of four to visit the Diggerland adventure park where children and adults can drive real diggers.
Linden Homes South West managing director Nigel Palmer said: “Community groups and charities are always in need of an extra boost and whether we’re fundraising or donating, we’re very happy to do our bit.”
Over £133m has been committed by Linden Homes to improving local communities since 2010.
