We invited the community to make their mark at the start of construction of the next phase of homes at our New Brunswick collection in Manchester.

Our North West region and development partners S4B asked the local Friends of Gartside Gardens to lay one of the first bricks in a special ceremony on November 5th to celebrate the ongoing regeneration of the area.

Donning hard hats and high vis vests were Craig Eastham, Chair of the Friends of Gartside Gardens; Vice-Chair Rhoda Stuart; Craig Nemeth, regeneration manager at Galliford Try, Sian Pitt, our regional sales manager; Ross Hemmings, community regeneration manager at S4B; and Gary Bailey, site manager.

Craig Eastham said: “These new houses will be a great asset to the area and we are thrilled to be marking this important milestone by having a chance to visit the site and laying a brick which will remain here in the community for years to come.”

Craig Nemeth added: “Friends of Gartside Gardens play a very important role within the local community of Brunswick so we were delighted to be able to welcome them on site to update them on the progress we have been making with the regeneration of the area and to cement their support for the new homes.”
