We donated 50 fleece-lined jackets to the Salvation Army in Uxbridge to help the homeless and people in need over winter.
The warm coats will be distributed by the charity as part of a store of lifeline packs it puts together which also contain, for example, a jumper, trousers, underwear, soap and toothpaste and food.
Salvation Army community coordinator William Gaylor said: "The Salvation Army has a long history of offering practical support to people who are vulnerable or in need, and is a place they can find help and care without judgment or prejudice.
“We're grateful to Linden Homes for this kind donation, which will help us provide a little extra warmth to those who have particular need during the colder winter months."
Linden Homes’ corporate responsibility manager, Gareth Rondel, added: “It’s good to be able to help the Salvation Army carry out its valuable work, particularly at this time of year when amid the celebrations some people on the margins of our communities can be forgotten about.
“One of our core principles as a company and as part of The Linden Foundation is to go beyond building quality homes and to bring tangible benefits by investing in our communities. I hope this donation will make a difference to people this winter.”
