Essex-based charity SNAP (Special Needs And Parents) has received a welcome boost to its funds, thanks to our Eastern region who continue to support the amazing work the charity does for the local community.
To support the charity, the region held fundraising events throughout 2015 which has helped raise over £3,000 for SNAP.
The team sold quality furniture from their show home in Chelmsford with all profits going straight to the charity. The region also held raffles at key events and hosted dress down days for staff who paid a small donation to take part.
SNAP helps Essex families with children and young people who have any special need and/or disability.
SNAP’s Manager and Founder, Hilary Needham MBE says Linden Homes’ donations are very much appreciated: “We are extremely grateful to Linden Homes who have been one of our key supporters for many years now. Every day more and more families turn to SNAP and we rely increasingly on the generosity of the local community to ensure we can continue to offer the best possible service to those who need us.”
Trevor Dempsey, managing director at Eastern commented: “We are delighted to support such a great cause. SNAP provides much needed support to those that need it in the area and we are pleased to give something back to hopefully help the team during 2016.”
Linden Homes has contributed over £1.2 million to health care services in the UK since 2010.
Linden Homes has contributed over £47.7 million to education throughout the UK since 2010.
