We scooped a brace of accolades at the Evening Standard New Homes Awards for the stunning design of one of our high quality houses.
Senior industry figures from across the south-east gathered for a lunch ceremony on Friday May 15th at London’s Dorchester Hotel to find out who had won among the 13 categories.
The Yeoman, which was designed especially for our Guildford region’s Froyle Park development in Upper Froyle, Hampshire, first won Best Family Home priced between £750,000 and £1.5 million by a large developer.
The day got even better when The Yeoman also scooped Best Out Of London Home to top off a highly successful ceremony for our team.
Comedian Jimmy Carr presented the awards and said: “Every entry is scrutinised by a panel of experts, but the final decisions are made in collaboration with readers of the Evening Standard – the people who may be in the market to buy your houses.”
Receiving the prize for Linden Homes Guildford were marketing manager Susan Whiting and land director Kevin MacKenzie. They were presented with the engraved plaque by former Olympic gold medal-winning heptathlete Denise Lewis.
Managing director for Linden Homes Guildford, Peter Youll, commented: “It is a real coup to land two titles at this acclaimed awards ceremony and it is wonderful to have the quality of our homes being recognised. Froyle Park is exemplary of the types of homes we can deliver at Linden Homes and it is testament to the team’s work to bring home these two trophies.”
