About 10,000 people visit the Cranleigh Show each year and this summer we joined them with financial support to help keep the rural event going strong into its 68th year.
Our Guildford region was co-sponsor with Wates Developments of the Members’ Marquee where 600 members and competition judges were welcomed throughout the day on Saturday August 2nd.
The Cranleigh Show, held in the village of Cranleigh, Surrey, is entirely non-profit and run by volunteers from the Cranleigh and South Eastern Agricultural Society to celebrate local farming and countryside life.
Events included livestock classes, agricultural contests, and the Linden Homes Ridden Hunter equestrian classes in the main ring. There were also more than 200 trade stands.
Linden Homes Guildford managing director Peter Youll said: “We’re really excited to be involved in this well-loved event, which has become a true part of Cranleigh’s heritage over the past six decades.
“Helping to support the show is really important to us as our new residents at Swallowhurst are welcomed into the community.”
