Praise: (l-r) Andrew Tyrie MP, managing director Peter Youll and land director Kevin MacKenzie
Chichester’s MP praised our Graylingwell Park development in the city when he visited to view its progress.
The collection of homes is the largest zero-carbon scheme in the UK and has its own combined heat and energy centre, extensive solar panels, an off-site wind turbine and comprehensive home insulation.
The first phase is now fully occupied and Andrew Tyrie MP was given a guided tour by Linden Homes Guildford managing director Peter Youll and land director Kevin MacKenzie round Nightingales, the latest properties being built.
Mr Tyrie said: “A good job is being done at Graylingwell Park. The partnership has shown what a balanced development can look like.”
The development is a joint project between Linden Homes, Affinity Sutton and the Homes and Communities Agency. Set within 85 acres of parkland, it features a community garden and will also have an orchard, farm shop and community hall, plus commercial space and artists’ studios.
Peter Youll added: “We were delighted that Mr Tyrie took time out of his busy schedule to visit Graylingwell Park. We’re extremely proud of this development and encouraged by Mr Tyrie’s support.”
