A day of golfing and caddying saw our Midlands region raise £3,500 for the children’s cancer ward at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
Staff from our subcontractors and suppliers teamed up to compete against one another at Greetham Valley Golf Club, in Rutland, on August 7th.
The day was rounded off with a presentation evening of prizes and a raffle, which alone contributed over £800. First prize went to the DBD Distribution team, with the Kevin Owen Plastering and Tony Houghton Plumbing teams taking second and third place.
Linden Homes Midlands area production manager Don Burley said “It was a great day for everyone involved, and we’d like to thank all the teams for their enthusiasm and contribution to the money raised.
“It’s a staggering amount which we know will be gratefully received by the children’s ward.”
Our insulation process includes blowing insulation into cavity walls, which means our homes are better insulated because there are less air gaps.
Over 90% of our waste is recycled or converted into energy.
