One of our site managers has proved his willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty by winning an industry award.
Paul Mott, who works at Linden Homes Midlands’ Orchid development at Oakham, has reached the next round of the National House-Building Council’s scheme to recognise top performance in his job.
He is one of just 450 site managers nationwide to reach the Quality Awards stage for site presentation, quality of build and finish, knowledge of building and organisational skills.
Paul said: “I’m delighted to have reached this stage in the competition and as a site manager I feel it is important to go that extra mile to ensure the quality and overall appearance of a development, and Orchid is a site I am extremely proud of.”
At a regional dinner in Leicester later this month, he will find out if he is one of 23 to win a Seal of Excellence award. The top four will then be presented with a regional award before progressing to the finals in London in the New Year.
Linden Homes production manager Don Burley added: “The whole team is really pleased for Paul, he has done an amazing job at Oakham and we wish him all the best in the next round of this prestigious industry competition.”
Linden Homes has contributed over £30.7 million to highways, transport systems and infrastructure throughout the UK since 2010.
