Big name comedians had audiences in stitches at Dartmouth’s 7th Comedy Festival which was staged with the support of our South West region.
The event held at The Flavel arts centre featured major performers including Harry Enfield and Jennifer Saunders as mystery guests, plus Dr Phil Hammond, Seann Walsh and Josh Widdicombe.
It was another example of Linden Homes South West getting involved in the community to support local events, which have included the Torbay Royal Regatta, the Abbotskerswell Music and Beer Festival, the Duchy of Cornwall 30th Open Badminton Championship in Redruth, Cornwall, and the Exminster Fair.
Lisa Chandler, programme and marketing manager at The Flavel, said: “It’s a great event, which people look forward to every year and we had some fantastic comedians perform but it is expensive, so we’re very grateful for all the support.”
Nigel Palmer, managing director for Linden Homes said: “We’re pleased to have supported the 7th Dartmouth Comedy Festival, it is always well attended and it’s been great to have been part of this exciting event.
“Securing Harry Enfield and Jennifer Saunders is a real coup. Every year they promise a mystery guest and it’s always someone you definitely wouldn’t want to miss.”
