The women of Tipton Town Ladies FC can continue their league campaign for another season thanks to a second year of sponsorship from our West Midlands region.
The team was established in 2007 but came close to collapsing in 2011 due to underfunding so our sponsorship has been vital to keeping it going. Now the squad has a fresh Linden Homes-branded purple and black strip – chosen specially by the 18 players.
Club founder Susan Albrighton said: “Two years ago, the club almost collapsed due to being underfunded.
“But after moving into my brand new Linden home in Birmingham, I approached the company for some financial assistance, on behalf of the team, and we haven’t looked back.
“Even though Linden is just one of our sponsors we couldn’t continue to play our matches without their financial support.”
Linden Homes West Midlands sales manager Linda Huntington said: “It’s great to be able to support Susan and the ladies again this season and we hope that the new strip brings the club continued luck on the pitch.”
Linden Homes has contributed over £30.7 million to highways, transport systems and infrastructure throughout the UK since 2010.
Linden Homes has won awards for Best Sustainable Developer four years in a row.
