Pop art: Ronnie Wood’s painting ‘Electric Horses’ was among those on display at City Glade, Exeter

We teamed up with a gallery to open a temporary art exhibition at our popular City Glade development in Exeter.

With the help of Castle Galleries, the show featured some stunning artwork from talented artists including Ronnie Wood from The Rolling Stones, Paul Kenton, Hamish Blakely and Caroline Shotton.

The art will be on display in one of the view homes, off Topsham Road, from Thursday 22nd May until Monday 26th May, between 10am and 5pm.

Selina Cassidy, from Castle Galleries, said: “We thought it would be a great idea to team up with Linden Homes and host a temporary art exhibition. The new homes are a perfect blank canvas for the art and it creates a fantastic gallery. We’re really looking forward to the five day event.”

Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes South West, added: “Exeter has a strong arts scene so our art exhibition with Castle Galleries is a really exciting idea.

“The event gives our residents and the local community an opportunity to view some beautiful art, they will be able to buy the pieces and see our stunning show home – so it provides plenty of ideas on how they can decorate and furnish their new home.”
