Property awards success for Home @ Heartlands

Top team: the people behind our award-winning development in Redruth, Cornwall

Top team: the people behind our award-winning development in Redruth, Cornwall

We scooped a prestigious accolade at the Michelmore’s Property Awards 2015 for our South West region’s popular Home @ Heartlands development in Redruth, Cornwall.

The contemporary collection of houses and apartments won the ‘Best Residential Project of the Year, 41 Units and Over’ category, facing fierce competition from its rivals.

We are working closely with the Homes and Communities Agency to create the 133 new homes to especially energy efficient and eco-friendly designs, including triple-glazed windows, photovoltaic panels and smart metering.

Nigel Palmer, managing director for Linden Homes South West, said: “Home @ Heartlands is an incredibly popular development which receives high visitor and reservation levels.

“The new homes and the Help to Buy scheme have been very positive for the Redruth community and it’s certainly a development we are very proud of.”

The development not only provides high quality, energy efficient homes for local people, but also commercial space. Local labour and materials are sourced wherever possible: about 60 people work on site daily, most of whom are local, including up to 10 apprentices.
