A Hampshire girls’ football team and boys’ rugby team have been sporting their brand new kits for their first games of the season, thanks to support from our South region.
The kits for the youngsters at Swanmore College include 12 sets of football shorts, socks and shirts and 20 sets of rugby tops and shorts.
Peter Youll, Linden Homes South managing director, said: “We are always committed to supporting residents, families, schools and colleges in the areas where we are building. The pupils look really smart in their new kits, so we hope they get lots of use out on the pitches.
“We know that sometimes there can be some inconvenience and noise during a build – and we really appreciate the patience and understanding that we receive from local people. It’s our way of saying thank you.”
Kyle Jonathan, the headteacher at Swanmore College, added: “We would like to thank Linden Homes for its generosity in providing our new football and rugby kits, which the pupils at Swanmore College will enjoy for many years to come.”
Set adjacent to our Scholars Grange development of three, four and five-bedroom homes, Swanmore College is a popular and successful school for 11 to 16-year-olds.
