Easter eggs lay out support for community fun

Chocs away: we supplied 550 eggs for an Easter hunt near Victory Fields at Upper Rissington

Chocs away: we supplied 550 eggs for an Easter hunt near Victory Fields at Upper Rissington

Excited youngsters hunted high and low for eggs supplied by our Thames Valley region for a special community Easter event in Gloucestershire.

We provided a haul of 550 delicious chocolate eggs which were hidden around the village hall and surrounding field in Upper Rissington with prizes on offer for the lucky winners.

In total we donated £250 to support the event on March 30th, which also included traditional judging for the best Easter bonnet plus a colouring competition. There were special eggs for the judges’ favourites.

Nearby Upper Rissington is where we are developing Victory Fields, a superb collection of three, four and five-bedroom family homes.

Linden Homes Thames Valley managing director Peter Carpinelli said: “The Easter event was a really fun way for the community to get together and we were very happy to provide hundreds of chocolate eggs which the kids had a great time hunting.

“The new homes at Victory Fields are going to bring homes, jobs and investment to the area, but it’s important to us also to make sure we help out with the little things too. When we say we want to get involved with communities, we mean it.”
