On the rise: council VIPs joined the Linden Homes team at Brunswick Park in Manchester

A visiting housing chief put his seal of approval on our Brunswick Park development on the edge of Manchester, describing it as becoming “a true neighbourhood of choice”.

Cllr Jeff Smith, the city council’s executive member for housing and regeneration made his comments after a tour of the site where our North West region will ultimately deliver 314 new homes for sale and 200 social homes over six years.

Our North West region’s sales manager, Sian Pitt, was also joined by local ward councillors Cllr Bernard Priest and Cllr Tina Hewitson to celebrate the progress on site.

Cllr Smith said: “Brunswick is becoming a true neighbourhood of choice. Local people have seen some great achievements this year, but as work continues they will see a further transformation of their area.

“We're seeing new homes with a variety of tenure options, which will appeal to a wide range of people – and this will only help strengthen the community in to the future.”

Brendan Blythe, managing director for Linden Homes North West, added: “We have had lots of interest from local residents so we are very optimistic about New Brunswick, which is our first North West site in 10 years.”
