With woods and irons at the ready, a fundraising team from our Midlands region is preparing to tee-off for a charity golf day in aid of a children’s leukaemia ward.
The line-up will be made up largely of staff from the company’s sub-contractors and suppliers – and commercial director Chris Harris has had his caddy services for the day bought in an auction for £500 by Firth Roofing & Roofspace.
The event at Greetham Valley Golf Club in August will raise funds for Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and after the day’s play there will be a presentation of prizes and a raffle.
Linden Homes Midlands managing director Chris Bond said: “We’re hoping to help collect a large amount for this very special cause which provides such lifesaving treatment for sick children.
“We’re delighted that through our business contacts and local links we have been able to put together a team to join in the fundraising efforts, which reflects our aim of supporting local events that benefit the community.”
Linden Homes has won awards for Best Sustainable Developer four years in a row.
