Budding Lampards and Gerrards have our Midlands region to thank for a brand new footballing wardrobe!
Sporting youngsters from a newly established side in Peterborough are reaping the benefits of sponsorship after running out for their first match in a new strip as well as training kit, track suits and waterproof jackets.
The new under-8s team is part of the long-running Gunthorpe Harriers Football Club, established in 1989 and currently running seven sides in the Peterborough and District Junior Alliance League.
They children are managed by FA licensed coach Darren Wright, who lives in a Linden Homes property at Burghfield Place in Gunthorpe.
He said: “I had the idea for the team after my seven-year-old son Tyler said he wanted to play football but wanted me there with him – so the best idea was to manage a side myself.
“I am really grateful to Linden Homes for their generous sponsorship which will allow us to not only look the part on the pitch, but raise the profile of the club and Linden Homes.”
The sponsorship coincides with a new phase of homes being built at Burghfield Place, where Gunthorpe Harriers FC will receive a VIP invitation to officially open the new show home.
We only use composite front doors which are insulated to lessen heat loss from our homes.
