For a great offering of shops, places to eat and even more things to do, Portsmouth is just 17 miles from Minerva Heights. There, you can indulge in a little retail therapy, or explore the many independent cafés, bars and restaurants, as well as bigger, well-loved chains.

If you travel a little further west, in just over 30 miles you’ll hit Southampton. The Titanic interactive experience at the SeaCity Museum is a popular family day out, and you can stand in the place where the world’s most famous ship set off on its doomed maiden voyage.

The seaside is just a stone’s throw away. Travel 9 miles to one of Britain’s most beautiful beaches in West Wittering, where you can lie in the sun, play in the sand dunes or dip your toes in the sea. Just over 10 miles away are the beautiful South Downs, perfect for leisurely weekend walks.

Transport & Travel

From Chichester railway station (just over a mile away), you can take a train to Portsmouth in about half an hour, and get to Southampton in around 50 minutes. It’s an hour by train to both Brighton and Gatwick Airport making Minerva Heights a perfect location for frequent flyers. Those working or going out in the capital can reach London in just 1 hour 30 minutes.

Travelling by car you’re approximately a mile from the A27, which takes you to the A3 for easy access to Portsmouth (approximately 25 minutes) and Southampton (50 minutes).
