Wadebridge: Cornwall’s best touch in a modern town

Voted “Best Place to live in the UK” by the Sunday Times in 2020, Wadebridge is a great place to put down your roots. Known for being the starting point of the Camel Estuary, Wadebridge is a lively town in the North of Cornwall and it offers the best of both worlds: it’s close (5 miles) from some of the UK’s most beautiful beaches while it offers a typical Cornish experience.

The local amenities of Wadebridge village are just a few minutes’ walks away from home including a Co-op, Post Office, a florist, and a vet surgery for your fluffy friends.

Our new houses for sale in Wadebridge are surrounded by the beautiful countryside where the views and activities are on your door-step, without the tourist-related downsides. Whether it’s a morning stroll along the Camel river, a jog on the beach, a hike along the Camel Trail or a weekend at the Lowarth glamping, you won’t be left without a choice for enjoying nature in your free time.

Of course, the Cornish town has to be enjoyed too. Food lovers will be surprised by the abundance of British and international choice in such a small town. Enjoy authentic, modern Thai street food at the Tiny Thai, pop in the Salt Box if you’d rather taste Indian delicacies or treat yourself and your family to a posh brunch at the Relish coffee shop, all within a 1-mile
radius from these new homes.

Those looking for shopping experiences will relish the small boutique shops in Wadebridge. The high street is packed with independents, including the excellent health food shop Elixir, bookshops, butchers, home interiors such as the Hawksfield, high-end delis and large supermarkets.
