Sawtry is located just 11 minutes’ drive from the A1(M), allowing for simple commutes to the surrounding areas of Huntingdon (6 miles), Peterborough (14 miles) and Stamford (19 miles). For longer journeys, the A1(M) / A1 provides routes to destinations including Hatfield and central London in the south, and Newark-on-Trent, Pontefract and the outskirts of Edinburgh in the north. The A14 is just a few miles away (for Cambridge and Kettering), as well as connecting to the M11, meaning Essex and central London can be reached quickly.

For train travel, Huntingdon station is around 10 miles from Bowlands Place, and provides regular services to Peterborough (16 minutes) and Horsham (2 hours 27 minutes). For journeys into London, Peterborough station provides direct services to Kings Cross in just 50 minutes.
