As you may know, Linden Homes has acquired an interest in the land south of St Margaret’s Cross, Langham and has recently submitted a planning application to Colchester Borough Council (Application reference 191830).

The plan now includes the development of 50 new homes (including 20% affordable), a new car park for Langham Primary School to assist parents and staff members commuting with children and an attractive new ‘village green’.
The Site forms part of a draft allocation within Colchester Borough Council’s emerging Local Plan meaning that the principle of development is considered to have been established. The application is expected to be determined in autumn 2019.
