Linden Homes has created some unique homes at its extraordinary development in Bedhampton in the Borough of Havant… And it seems they are attracting some real interest from local professionals.
Well over half the people who have come to see the homes already live in the area (within a 15 mile radius), so they will know how commutable Bedhampton is and how easy it is to reach A3 and A27/M27 from here. And now is definitely the time to buy. You can apply for the Government led Help to Buy scheme, which almost 100,000 people across the country have already taken advantage of. It’s available for the purchase of new homes priced below £600,000.
With Help to Buy you need just a 5% deposit and you can borrow, in the form of an equity loan, 20% from the Government. That means you only need to secure a 75% mortgage from your bank or building society.
For example, a house priced at £299,950 on Help to Buy, requires as little as £14,997 deposit against an equity loan of £59,990 to secure the property.
