As Thames Water carries out important upgrade works to Hyde End Road in Shinfield, the new neighbourhood being built at Shinfield Meadows remains open for viewing.
The works currently being undertaken on Hyde End Road, home to the new Shinfield Meadows development, is set to replace existing water mains with new plastic pipes to provide a more reliable service. The work which began on 9th April is planned to finish on 20th July.
Although Hyde End Road will be closed throughout this time house hunters will still be permitted entry to access Shinfield Meadows and discover their new home.
Shinfield Meadows is a community being created by top housebuilders, Linden Homes, Bovis Homes and Bloor Homes. As part of Wokingham Borough’s major redevelopment scheme the new neighbourhood will provide 1,200 new homes, a new primary school, a food store, commercial space along with communal and recreational grounds.
