Regents Place New Homes Close To Selling Out On First Phase
04 Feb 2016

Nearly 80 per cent of the high quality new homes at Regents Place, near Gloucester, have been snapped up within just a few months of their launch.

The development in Kingsway, Quedgeley, was launched by award-winning Linden Homes late last year but the first phase is already close to selling out, with just seven properties left on the market.

Sue Schofield, sales and marketing director at Linden Homes Western, said: “We knew Regents Park would be popular because of the quality of the homes and the sought-after location. But even we’ve been surprised at just how warm the response has been.

“Just on the launch weekend in November last year we had more than 30 visitors and a number of reservations, which was a great start. The show homes and the sales office have been busy since then.

“In particular, people like the high specification at Regents Place with the homes’ fixtures and fittings that really stand out on the market. The location has proved a big draw too.

“The buyers have been a wide range of people, from young families and professional couples to investors who want to be confident their property will let. It shows the mix of homes we’re offering is appealing to a variety of customers – and that househunters need to act quickly to avoid missing out on their first choice.”

Regents Place comprises two, three, and four-bedroom homes. All are available with just a 5% deposit with the government backed Help to buy scheme.

Visitors have been inspired by the two show homes: the three-bedroom Birch and the two-bedroom Oak, which both exhibit the fully-fitted kitchens, high quality fixtures and fittings and energy efficient features for lower bills.

As with every Linden Homes development, the properties at Regents Place all come with a 10-year NHBC warranty and two-year customer care warranty.

Regents Place is conveniently located just five miles south-west of Gloucester’s cathedral city centre, with its range of shopping, eateries, attractions and heritage. The green hills of the famous Cotswolds roll out in the other direction, offering a balance of town and country.

Local amenities include two shopping centres, supermarkets, churches, pubs, a library, village hall and post office. For the youngsters, nearby there are several children’s play areas, a village hall, sports centre, sports pavilion and a range of schools.

For getting further afield, the M5 is on hand for cultural Cheltenham, 12 miles to the north, and bustling Bristol to the south. Direct trains from Gloucester station can reach Bristol Temple Meads in 54 minutes, and London Paddington in less than two hours.
