Helping to toast a key social date in the Tockwith community calendar – Linden Homes West Yorkshire is raising a glass to the village’s 2018 Beer Festival.
The developer is lending its support to the festival, which was established in 2009 to raise funds for Tockwith Primary School.
Over the years, the event has grown – adding more music, more tents, more fabulous tipples and a bigger site. And since gaining charitable status, it means that the Festival is able to share the profits with other groups or charities in the area; making it a real community event.
Linden Homes West Yorkshire is supporting the festival on 30 June, and will be sponsoring the half pint glasses for the festival, displaying the Linden Homes logo.
And with its popular Oak Park development wowing visitors and buyers with its range of three and four-bedroom homes, the house builder is delighted to be toasting the event.
Sales director Gina Holmes said: “As a developer providing new homes for the Tockwith community, we are very happy to have the opportunity to be involved with this exciting and popular event.”
Tracey Ractcliffe, one of the festival organisers, said: “The annual Tockwith Festival isn't just about sampling a range of peculiarly named local tipples or listening to a range of talented musicians and performers. It is also about raising money for projects and organisations which can benefit a wide range of people in the local community.''
“We are very grateful to Linden Homes for supporting the event this year, which we anticipate being a fabulous family day out, with a real community atmosphere and, of course, raising funds which will go towards supporting local charities, projects and good causes.
