Linden Homes To Launch The Maltings With Open Weekend

Housebuilder, Linden Homes, will host an open weekend in January to launch The Maltings, its new 61-home development in Penwortham, South Ribble.

The event will take place on the 13th and 14th January at Penwortham Golf Club, and will give prospective and first-time buyers the opportunity to find out more about the new-build homes at The Maltings, as well as what financial support may be available to them.

Property Perspective, which covers all aspects of selling properties through its experienced sales team, and New Homes Group, the UK's leading mortgage specialist, will be on hand all weekend to offer expert advice on packages that can make the first step onto the property ladder more achievable.

Home buyers will also be able to learn more about the three and four-bedroom open market homes available to them at the 4.2-acre site, as well as prices and information on the local area.

The first homes are expected to complete in Summer 2018, with two-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom houses on offer solely to first-time buyers through a tailor-made scheme, designed to help more people purchase their first home.

Sian Pitt, head of sales at Linden Homes North West, said: “The Maltings is a fantastic site, close to Preston city centre’s shops and restaurants, as well as the leafy Peach Tree Park. Work on-site is progressing well, and it’s great to see the site taking shape.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to this informative open weekend to hear more about the high-quality homes on offer, and how we can help make the purchase of a dream home more simple. We’re expecting The Maltings to be very popular indeed.”

Rosamond Day, relationship manager at Property Perspective, said: ‘We’re delighted to be supporting Galliford Try Partnerships with the open weekend. With our proactive approach, we can make sure that the customer gets the best price for their existing home and can reserve the new home of their choice. The biggest benefit is that it won’t cost you a penny to use our services, as Galliford Try Partnerships covers the cost.

“By working with housebuilders, we helped over 400 families move to their dream new home last year. We understand the new build market and work hard on your behalf to remove the stressful part of moving home. We look forward to meeting visitors at the event, and assisting more house hunters with their move.”
