Linden Homes To Host Assisted Move Weekend

Linden Homes North West will host an Assisted Move weekend in Oldham on September 30th, giving house hunters a helping hand with selling their current homes and moving in to a brand-new property.

The event will take place at the housebuilder’s St Augustine’s development, a 54-home scheme that features a mix of high quality three-bedroom mews, three and four-bedroom semi-detached and detached new homes.

Families and individuals will get the chance to find out more about the Assisted Move Scheme, which removes marketing fees and estate agent costs and makes selling your home quick and simple.

For those who choose to sign up to the scheme, Linden Homes’ Assisted Move partners, Property Perspective, will arrange an independent valuation of your current home and agree a marketing price. The Property Perspective team will then directly liaise with estate agents to sell your home within a pre-agreed timescale, and once a sale is agreed, your Linden Homes property will be reserved.

By taking advantage of the Assisted Move Scheme, your current home can be valued, and on the market, within the space of just one week.

St Augustine’s boasts an excellent location in a popular part of Greater Manchester, situated just eight miles from the natural beauty of the Peak District and within easy access of the city centre.

Mr Leo Liu, an education consultant who recently purchase a brand-new home at Linden Homes North West’s New Brunswick development through the Assisted Move Scheme, said: “From the moment we signed up to the scheme we didn’t have to worry about a thing. It can often be a long and stressful process but Linden Homes North West made it completely hassle free.

“They organised everything from the estate agent’s photographs and marketing materials, to putting the house on the market and after only two weeks our existing house was sold. I didn’t even have to worry about finding interim accommodation as the company ensured the completion of the sale coincided with the purchase of our new house.”

Property Perspective, which covers all aspects of selling properties through its experienced sales teams, will be on hand at the St Augustine’s event to offer expert advice on the Assisted Move Scheme and answer any questions prospective movers may have.

Rosamond Day, relationship manager at Property Perspective, said: ‘We’re delighted to be working closely with Linden Homes. With our proactive approach, we can make sure that the customer gets the best price for their existing home and can reserve the new home of their choice. The biggest benefit is that it won’t cost you a penny to use our services, as Linden Homes covers the cost.

“By working with housebuilders, we helped over 400 families move to their dream new home last year. We understand the new build market and work hard on your behalf to remove the stressful part of moving home. We look forward to meeting visitors at the event, and assisting more house hunters with their move.”

The Assisted Move event will take place from 10am to 5pm.
