Linden Homes has appointed Bradley Davison as its new managing director to head up the south west region.
Based at the company’s office in Exeter, Bradley will oversee every aspect of the business, from land buying to production and sales, ensuring the timely delivery of quality homes in the region, which covers Devon and Cornwall.
With over 28 years’ housebuilding experience, Bradley comes to Linden Homes from Taylor Wimpey where he was commercial director. He has extensive knowledge of the property industry having also worked for other national companies: Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes and Persimmon Homes.
Commenting on the move, Bradley said: “I had been waiting for the right position and was delighted when the opportunity arose to lead Linden Homes’ south west region. Not only is it a strong business, but there is an exciting growth strategy in place and my experience with other major housebuilders will definitely benefit the company and the direction it’s moving in.”
Originally from Yorkshire, Bradley started his career as a trainee quantity surveyor at Persimmon Homes before rising through the ranks and working in a number of different disciplines to become technical director there.
He added: “Training and apprenticeships are so important in giving you a solid foundation. I know that being a trainee gave me a great overview of the company and I’m eager to help others develop by giving them similar opportunities to progress their careers in our industry.
“I’m pleased to be leading the south west team and I am looking forward to making it even more successful in the future. We have a healthy landbank and some fantastic projects in the pipeline so it’s definitely going to be busy!”
Bradley, 44, lives in Exeter with his partner, Rachel, and two young children.
Linden Homes is currently building in Exeter, Kingsteignton, Paignton, Sherford, Totnes, Okehampton, Barnstaple and Camborne.
