Linden Homes South West has appointed Alison Kendall as its new sales and marketing director for its Devon developments.
Alison will work alongside Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director for the Cornish developments, in the Newton Abbot office and will be responsible for overseeing the region’s sales and marketing function and managing over 20 people.
Alison has over 30 years’ experience in the property industry and previously ran her own property consultancy with 30 employees. The company dealt with all aspects of the build process from concept to completion.
A trained chartered surveyor, she has also worked in estate agency, affordable housing and new homes, including as an associate for Knight Frank and as a sales and marketing director for Midland and City Developments.
Commenting on her new role, Alison said: “I am thrilled to have joined Linden Homes - its reputation for building award winning, bespoke homes impressed me and there are some very exciting projects in pipeline.
“The company has enjoyed a great deal of success recently and I look forward to continue building Linden Homes’ strong reputation along with the rest of the team.”
Nigel Palmer, managing director of Linden Homes said: “Alison has a vast amount of experience and we’re delighted with the new appointment – she’s the perfect person for the job!”
Originally from Yorkshire, Alison is relocating to Devon from the Midlands - with her husband, two dogs and two horses.
Alison added: “When you visit the South West you really don’t want to leave, so I’m very pleased to be moving to this beautiful part of the world.”
Linden Homes is currently building homes in Exeter, Okehampton, Westward Ho!, East Ogwell, Kingsteignton, Totnes, Paignton, Goodrington, Plymouth, Devonport, Duporth, Redruth, Truro and Camborne.
