With three homes sold in the last week, coupled with the introduction of the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, it’s not surprising the latest phase of Linden Homes’ Evolve development in Devonport is proving very popular with homebuyers.
Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes said: “The Government’s Help to Buy scheme is available at all of our developments and so we’re holding an event on Saturday 27th April from 12pm to 4pm at Evolve so visitors can find out more about the initiative. We’re asking everyone who has five per cent deposit saved to challenge us to find them a mortgage – we can help you move, it’s something we’re very passionate about.
Brian added: “Home 76 is a ground floor two bedroom apartment with a balcony, it’s priced at £119,950 but if you used the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, you would only need a five per cent deposit of £5,998 and a mortgage of £95,960, with the remaining 20 per cent borrowed over 25 years. Plus, the first five years are interest free, so it’s a great opportunity for those wanting to move.”
