Graylingwell Park Partnership Sponsors Chichester Festival Theatre For Third Year Running
27 Feb 2012

The Graylingwell Park Partnership is pleased to confirm its third year of sponsorship with the Chichester Festival Theatre.

This year, the partnership is sponsoring the world premiere of ‘Canvas’ a play by Michael Wynne, directed by Angus Jackson at the Minerva Theatre from 18th May to 16th June.  The play is a comedy which looks at the dilemmas and struggles of modern life, based around three couples attempting to get away from it all on a glamorous camping holiday, but finding out that their rural idyll isn’t so perfect after all.

Michael Wynne’s last play, The Priory, won the 2010 Olivier Award for Best Comedy. Director Angus Jackson’s credits include The Browning Version, Wallenstein and The Waltz of the Toreadors.

Graylingwell Park is being developed jointly by Linden Homes, national affordable housing provider Affinity Sutton and the Homes and Communities Agency.  Less than a mile from Chichester city centre and set within 85 acres of parkland, it is the UK’s largest carbon neutral development.

Natalie Flint, sales director of Linden Homes Guildford, says: “After two very successful years, we’re delighted to sponsor the Chichester Festival Theatre for a third year.  It plays a hugely important role in the city and as the developer of the city’s largest new residential scheme we feel the Festival Theatre is an important resource that provides fantastic entertainment for its residents both old and new.”
