Developer Helps Charity Tournament Tee-Off During A Summer Of Sport

With the Euros, Wimbledon and the Rio Olympics making 2016 a packed summer of sport – there is another event to help the season go with a swing!

The annual Hunters Charity Golf Tournament will be tee-ing off on July 8 at the Easingwold Golf Club, North Yorkshire.

This year, developer Linden Homes North are the main sponsors of the popular event, which is once again raising money for the Nikki Waterhouse Trust.

The charity was set up in memory of Nikki, a former Hunters estate agent from York, who was sadly taken away following tragic circumstances in October in 2013.

The organisation raises money and works with members of the public in York to support children and families who are suffering from natural disaster or catastrophe in the United Kingdom.

The tournament attracts over 100 local businesspeople and is a key date in the business community’s fundraising and networking calendar.

Linden Homes North - which is home to the popular three and four-bedroom Lindendale development in Easingwold - say they are delighted to be the main sponsors of the event.

Sales director Steve Woomble said: “This is a fantastic event, which has established itself over the years as not only a great opportunity to support such a worthy cause, but is the ‘go to’ event for many members of the local business community to raise the profile of the area and enjoy a superbly organised occasion.”
