Sapcote residents revelled in festive fun at their annual Christmas Party – with Linden Homes Midlands offering some Christmas cheer along the way.
The party goers were families living at Linden Homes’ popular development The Limes, where community spirit is a high priority, as is getting to know your neighbours.
The Limes resident and party organiser Steve Fox said: “When I first moved to the development, I decided to put together a website for the residents, a notice board really for everyone to use.
“It was a chance for people to get to know their neighbours, build a community, sell items, neighbourhood watch and promote local news and events.
“As we are all new here, I thought it was a good way for people to meet each other, and the website really took off,” added Steve – who also organised a summer street party in June.
Linden Homes Midlands covered the cost of hiring the Village Hall venue for the Christmas festivities and also added some Christmas lights with the residents for the tree on Lime Avenue.
Area sales manager Tracey Gibson said: “The Limes is a fantastic development when it comes to community spirit and a real neighbourly feel amongst the residents.
“We were happy to lend a hand to their Christmas party celebrations and a big thanks to Steve for organising such another great event. We would like to wish each and everyone one of our residents and customers at The Limes a very happy Christmas.”
The Limes has only a handful of new homes left to sell – including a stunning range of four-bedroom family homes which are ready to move into now.
Others are due for imminent completion, and as well as the time sensitive mortgage paid offer, a range of other incentives are available for potential buyers, including the Government-backed Help to Buy initiative and the popular Part Exchange scheme.
