Linden Homes is holding a community event at its Meldon Fields development in Okehampton on Thursday 3rd July from 4pm to 7pm.
Visitors will be able to find out about the range of activities available in Okehampton for children, young people and adults of all ages including basketball, badminton, dance, football, fencing, gymnastics, trampolining, bowls, pilates, volleyball, walking, cycling, archery, squash, walks, unicycling, art, sewing, horseriding, ballet, chess and yoga – no name a few!
Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes said: “If you have always wanted to find out more about these local clubs then please come and join us. You can drop in to enjoy some refreshments and meet Stuart from the Okehampton Community Recreation Association, who will be at the event to talk through the available clubs and activities.”
OCRA is a charity that aims to maintain and develop sporting and recreational opportunities and facilities for Okehampton and the surrounding area. The charity has organised ‘Okehampton Sports and Fitness 2014,’ which is the Devon Sports and Fitness Festival that will run from Saturday 5th to Sunday 13th July.
Meldon Fields is a very popular development situated in Okehampton, with easy access to Exeter. There are currently a range of three bedroom homes available.
