Christmas Jumper Wearers Help To Boost Coffers For Save The Children

Flaunting their fabulous knits and silly sweaters – fundraisers from Linden Homes East Yorkshire have been boosting coffers for Save the Children.

Staff from the head office in Hessle took fundraising to another level, by making a donation at their Christmas buffet lunch as well as wearing their best winter woollies.

Around £43 was raised on the day. Linden Homes sales manager Julie Hubbard said: “We had a fabulous selection of jumpers and everyone really got behind the idea to have fun and raise money for some great causes at the same time.”

The suggested £2 donation, according to Save the Children, will pay for a blanket and a hat to keep a child warm this winter.
