Stepping out for a great cause – Linden Homes North sales executive Vanessa Allison has been lacing up her walking boots to support the fundraising efforts of a local hospital.
Taking a break from selling new homes, Vanessa - who is based at The Balk development in Pocklington - was among the many to line up for the recent nine-mile sponsored walk along part of the popular Wanderlust Way.
The event was held to boost funds for the oncology & haematology department at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, and has raised around £400 so far.
Vanessa, who was joined along the route by husband Andy, said: “We had a great day, made all the more satisfying by the fact that we were all raising money for such a worthy cause.
“The scenery on the Lincolnshire Wolds was stunning, and I’m really happy to have taken part.”
