Workers from one of our developments in Exeter gave a church a helping hand with repairs and maintenance.
Some of our team putting the finishing touches to the houses and apartments at Discovery Quarter pitched in and offered their services free at nearby St David’s Church.
They helped provide a floodlight to illuminate the church tower at night, repaired a wall, and cleared the drains too.
Discovery Quarter includes a pair of Grade II listed buildings which have been refurbished into new homes to a very high standard. The properties range from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom houses.
Linden Homes South West managing director Nigel Palmer said: “We were delighted to be able to help the church and get these jobs done, saving it some time and money.
“The Linden Homes Foundation is all about getting involved in the local community and trying to bring benefits beyond providing quality homes, and this is a good example of how we can achieve that.”
Linden Homes has won awards for Best Sustainable Developer four years in a row.
Over £133m has been committed by Linden Homes to improving local communities since 2010.
