Talented photographers picked up prizes in a competition run by our Guildford region for a place in a fundraising picture calendar of the beautiful Hampshire village of Odiham.
The 12 pictures judged the best not only won cash prizes of up to £200 for the photographer but will also feature in a 2014/15 academic calendar which has been delivered to Mayhill Junior School to sell to boost their funds.
The awards were presented by Linden Homes Guildford’s sales and marketing director, Natalie Flint, during a ceremony at The Great Hall at The Cross Barn, Odiham, on Thursday June 19th.
The senior winner of the “buildings and architecture” category was Sarah Voysey, and the junior winner was Toby Thornton (7). Hannah Lynch won the senior half of the “Odiham life” category and Will Kettle (7) won in the junior section.
Natalie Flint said: “People in Odiham are really proud of their community and their village – and that pride showed through very strongly in their beautiful and personal photography. Congratulations to all the winners.
“Competitions like this are really nice ways to show off the character of an area and highlight why they’re such popular places to live. We’re delighted to be delivering more new homes at Allingham Mews that fit the village’s rural atmosphere and architecture.”
Every piece of timber in your house is sustainably sourced timber. This means that new trees are planted to replace those cut down.
Our insulation process includes blowing insulation into cavity walls, which means our homes are better insulated because there are less air gaps.
