With research revealing that only one in three Brits introduces themselves to their neighbours when moving house, our Midlands region is helping new residents buck the trend.
We recently launched the Gallery development near Milton Keynes and to celebrate its early success the newest customers were given the chance to get to know each other before they moved in.
Purchasers were invited to view the stunning show home and meet their soon-to-be neighbours at an informal evening, where they chatted and met Linden Homes’ sales executive Hannah Jones.
The event contradicts national research commissioned by The Big Lunch, a Lottery-funded initiative, which suggests a large percentage of people are “too busy” to make themselves known to those who live close by, or feel they will have “nothing in common”.
Hannah said: “It was a fantastic event, very informal and relaxed and gave our customers the chance to break the ice before they move in.
“The success of the development so far has been overwhelming and we are delighted to be meeting the needs of so many purchasers from in and around the Milton Keynes area.”
