The Fairford Festival is one of the highlights of the Cotswolds market town’s community calendar and this year our Thames Valley region is getting involved.
The annual institution held in May and June is bursting with fun and games, ranging from running races and dog shows to exhibitions and quiz nights, as well as the traditional and spectacular festival parade.
We’ve pledged £1,100 to help fund the 3K family fun run as well as the more serious 10K race, plus the show-stopper parade which features colourful floats and walking entries.
Fairford is where we’re also delivering 19 high quality four and five-bedroom detached homes at the popular Stoneleigh development.
Former mayor Chris Roberts MBE said: “The Fairford Festival has brought out the community spirit of our town for more than 100 years. It's a cherished event and we're very grateful to Linden Homes for their support this year.”
Linden Homes Thames Valley managing director Peter Carpinelli said: “The whole town looks forward to the Fairford Festival, so we’re honoured to be getting involved by pledging our support.
“There’s always lots going on with plenty of fun and games and I’m sure this year will be bigger and better than ever. We’re very proud to be delivering new homes and contributing to the wider community.”
Linden Homes has contributed over £9.7 million towards leisure, sport and other public facilities in the UK since 2010.
We only use composite front doors which are insulated to lessen heat loss from our homes.
