Our Midlands region got a nice warm glow when they donned their Christmas jumpers to raise money for a good cause.
Staff at the Peterborough head office dug out their brightest tops for Friday December 12th, which was declared Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children which works in 120 countries round the world.
Thanks to workplaces of all sorts getting into the festive spirit and taking part up and down the country, the event raised more than £600,000 overall. It will be back next year to collect even more.
Linden Homes Midlands managing director Michael Coker said: “Some of the jumpers had to be seen to be believed – but everyone had a lot of fun and raised money for a very worthy cause.
“As an office we’re very keen to take part in big national events like this, as well as local fundraisers too. It’s part of what we do at Linden Homes; we try to contribute beyond the building site.”
All of our homes come with Smart Meters. These have the capacity to automatically send readings to your energy provider.
