The latest arrivals to the Cotswold village of Upper Rissington were given a warm Christmas welcome when a choir of local carollers visited our new Victory Fields development.
To help build community links, the singers from Christian community group CUR:ve (Church in Upper Rissington: valuing everyone) went from door to door on Thursday December 18th performing yuletide hymns and offering chocolates.
The new villagers were invited by CUR:ve to an evening of community carol singing on one of the development’s many green spaces where mince pies and mulled wine were served from our sales and marketing suite.
Rob French from CUR:ve, said: “We were delighted to work with Linden Homes to run the evening of carols and festivities. It was a great success and it was a pleasure to meet the new residents up at Victory Fields in Upper Rissington.
“We are really pleased that Linden Homes has been so proactive to engage with us and this is another example of where the new and established community are coming together to form an exciting and vibrant place to live.”
Steve Garton, Linden Homes Thames Valley sales and marketing director, added: “Although the homes and residents at Victory Fields are new, they are quickly becoming part of the local neighbourhood. We were very happy to have played our part in helping organise this event.”
The blocks we use to build your home are the most energy efficient available and 80% of material within the blocks is recycled material - this saves heat loss from our homes and thus reduces CO2 emissions.
Linden Homes has contributed over £1.2 million to health care services in the UK since 2010.
