Our North region is entering the spirit of things – with RHS Chelsea Flower Show approaching fast, and keen gardeners gear up for the forthcoming season of local horticultural shows.
Summer wouldn’t be complete without a village horticultural show – and green-fingered residents know how to do things in style in East Yorkshire.
The annual Swanland Show takes place on September 10. Preparations for the event, which invites villagers and others to showcase their talents and skills in gardening, hobby and craft categories, are well under way.
Among this year’s supporters are Linden Homes North, who is main sponsor of the show.
Sales manager Julie Hubbard said: “We are thrilled to be lending our support to this well established and popular event. As a part of the local community, we feel it is extremely important to get involved in village life where we can.”
Show chairman Paul Neve added: “Our thanks to Linden Homes for their support and interest not only in our annual show but in the Swanland community has a whole. We are looking forward to a wonderful event in September.”
Over 90% of our waste is recycled or converted into energy.
Linden Homes has contributed over £9.7 million towards leisure, sport and other public facilities in the UK since 2010.
