Our Guildford region backed a special Christmas loyalty card scheme to support traders in Cranleigh by encouraging shoppers to buy local.
We contributed towards a £1,000 prize which is up for grabs as part of the innovative Cranleigh Christmas Shopping Spree, thought up by the town’s chamber of commerce.
Shoppers purchasing items from some 40 stores in the High Street added stickers each time to a reward card. If they collect eight they have the chance to enter a prize draw, the winner of which was announced in January.
The loyalty cards were handed out at the festive lights switch-on and the scheme runs until Christmas Eve.
Linden Homes Guildford managing director Peter Youll said: “This is a clever scheme that we were delighted to support as it gives practical help to high street traders who are the lifeblood of communities like Cranleigh.
“We deliver quality homes but we’re about building sustainable neighbourhoods too and this kind of involvement is a perfect example of that philosophy in action.”
Our insulation process includes blowing insulation into cavity walls, which means our homes are better insulated because there are less air gaps.
All waste plasterboard is recycled and used in the manufacture of new plasterboard products.
