Torbay’s 200th Royal Regatta got a boost when our South West region teamed up with our parent company, Galliford Try, to give it some extra support.

The annual occasion celebrated its bicentenary over August 24th-28th with a series of events including a fireworks display, regatta fair, anniversary cup race, rowing events, a water ski spectacular and a display by The Red Arrows.

Galliford Try is currently constructing the South Devon Link Road so it was a perfect chance to combine our backing for the local community.

Debbie Selley, from Torbay Royal Regatta, added: “We’re delighted that Linden Homes and Galliford Try are supporting Torbay’s Royal Regatta. We rely heavily on the support from local businesses and are incredibly grateful for their contributions.”

Linden Homes South West sales and marketing director Brian Deacon said: “As we’re both working locally, it made sense to join forces with Galliford Try - we’re thrilled to support the local community in such a positive way.

“The Red Arrow display is a personal favourite of mine and it’s fantastic to see so much activity in the bay.”
