Community-minded staff from our Midlands region showed their support on one of the most important dates in the Burton Latimer social calendar.

We joined hundreds of local people at the Northamptonshire town’s annual Duck Race at the Pocket Park. We backed the event by meeting the cost of printing thousands of leaflets and handing out branded goodies bags.

As well as the Duck Race, organisers hope the family fun day – complete with bouncy castles, canoe rides, pond dipping, tractor rides and various charity stalls – will help boost coffers to support the much-used Pocket Park and the Burton Latimer Scouts.

Clare Phillips, Linden Homes Midlands sale director, said: “We recognise what a very important date the Duck Race is in the local social calendar, and one which is greatly supported by the local community – so as ‘newcomers’ to the town, we are delighted to be involved and attend what was a fantastic, fun family event.”
