We got in the saddle with Sir Tom Jones and more than a dozen of our sub-contractors to raise more than £12,000 at a charity horse racing evening.
Our south-east region helped to book over 100 seats at the event at Sandown Park, Surrey, organised by the Children's Trust Tadworth which cares for youngsters with multiple disabilities.
As well as the racing, there was a Champagne reception, three-course dinner and live evening music to ensure everyone had a good time helping to boost an even better cause.
The trust provides over one-third of the country’s beds dedicated to the rehabilitation of children with serious brain injuries. Over 5,000 youngsters a year suffer harm that will affect them in this way for the rest of their life.
Linden Homes South East managing director Steve Bangs said: “We have been supporting the Children’s Trust Tadworth for several years so to be able to play our part in raising another £12,000 was fantastic.
“Building quality homes is central to what we do but – as this event proved – giving local communities a helping hand in improving their facilities and services is never far from our minds.”
Wherever possible we source our bricks from the UK.
Over 90% of our waste is recycled or converted into energy.
